Electrical Test Engineer
Oerlikon - Zurich (Switzerland)
Initial 12 month Contract
My customer is a leading Air Defence Manufacturer specialising in Technology driven advanced Air Defence Systems based in Zurich. The company are a Global leader in producing Automatic Cannon Based Air Defences; they are also the sole supplier able to offer fire control technology, automatic cannon, integrated guided missiles and Ahead Airburst Ammunition - all from a single source.
Requirements
The following knowledge and skills required for the proposed activity:
*Electrical/Industry Engineering, especially cabling and connector definition experience within subsystems. Cabling and connector definition in the military field would be a distinct advantage.
*Understanding of electronics for the 19 "-VME-rack design
*Knowledge of data sheets and specifications
*Understanding of Radar and EO (create and perform test procedures) is an advantage
*Practicality/Experience with commissioning
*Writing specifications and data sheets in English language.
Tasks
*Design of the Man Aloft switch function (MAS Function: Safety function for producing the rotary safety in maintenance activities).
*Design of the Tracker Logistic panel.
*Radar and EO test
*Create and specifications electronics rack documents
*Support for commissioning (IBS) Simulator
You may be required to travel abroad for the project depending on the work status.
