Electrical Technician Job

ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Colorado Springs, CO.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Knowledgeable in various communication mediums for data communication; Ethernet, ARINC-429, 1553 Bus, fiber optics, troubleshoot electronic units to the component-level

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Will perform a variety of duties associated with electronic, mechanical, eletro-mechanical, cable assemblies and intermediate and depot level testing
- Will operate and test airborne system mock-up in a lab environment to verify line replacement unit (LRU) operational capabilities
- Conducts Intermediate-Level (I-Level)and Depot Level (D-Level) testing of LRU's in a lab environment using established test procedures
- Will apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery and electrical control equipment and circuitry in industrial or commercial plants and laboratories

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Strong understanding of analog electronics, digital electrical, radio frequency electronics and power supplies
- Schematic analysis, signal flow diagrams, system troubleshooting, and problem solving techniques
- Trained in soldering electronic components to IPC-J-STD-001 requirements for soldering electrical and electronic assemblies or its equivalent
- Familiar with cable assembly repair and fabrication per engineering specifications
