Electrical Technician/Design Engineer

I am looking to hire a Electrical Technician/Design Engineer for one of my public sector client.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

- Applicants should either have completed an apprenticeship or equivalent, or have a degree qualification in Electrical/Electronic/Software Engineering and have a sound knowledge of modern electrical engineering components and techniques, and have recent experience of working in a technically challenging environment.
- Applicants should be computer literate and ideally have a working knowledge of an Electrical CAD package, PLC ladder logic and some experience of modern programming languages, however relevant training will be made available for the selected candidate.
- A willingness to work in a flexible way to ensure the efficient operation of the equipment in support of the experimental programme is essential. The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills, be able to work in a multi-disciplinary team, be self-motivated, flexible and reliable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Approved apprenticeship, BTEC HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with several years experience.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

- Central Government, or healthcare experience
