Electrical Technician

An Electrical Technician is required for a World Leading Engineering Company based in Belgium.

Job: Electrical Technician

Location: Belgium

Duration: 6-12 months+

Rate: Neg.

As the successful Electrical Technician you will have the following knowledge and experience:-

5-10 years experience dealing with high voltage systems,

Experience with switching electrical equipment and troubleshooting, less experience with installation of equipment, cabling.

Has a high appreciation of working safely. Actively participates in training and safety programs.

Knowledge of the following areas (from the maintenance and repair point of view):

Transformers, electrical circuits
Electric motors
Fully authorized by switching the requisite training to follow to get the required certificates (internal and external).

Good knowledge of the following areas (from the maintenance and repair point of view) and is specialized in at least two:
Motor Control Technology
High-voltage protection
Electrical machines (generators, electric motors)
Has highly location-specific installation knowledge.
May initiate and implement improvement projects independently, can be used in a commissioning team
Prepares own business, prepare things for others.
High quality in managing people
Explains to colleagues and acts as an oracle. Let there be exemplary behaviors in social, communicative and technical level.
Doing things that add value beyond the maintenance group, such as safety rounds, advocacy, near-miss reporting.
