My client, a leading automotive manufacturer, based in Warwickshire, are looking to recruit a Electrical Systems Engineer to join their Electrical Engineering division on a long-term contract basis.

Position Description:

*Responsible for updating switchgear CAD to meet latest design, liaising with component owners to make sure there parts are in the correct location against the released a surface
*Update 3D CAD to latest revisions, check supplier provided 2D drawings
*Geometry checks and package alignments against interfacing parts A surface trim, B surface and EDS

Experience Required:

*Understanding of process and methods in the delivery of Catia V5/V6 application CAD geometry generation (parts & assemblies)
*Creation of basic 3D CAD package models

Education Required:

*Catia V5/V6/TCE/Digital Buck

Education Preferred:

*Automotive experience beneficial, engineering HNC/HND or significant experience
