A client of mine who are based in Hampshire have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Systems/Design Engineer to join them on a 12 month contract basis. The role will require you to be based in Southampton for the initial handover phase and getting up to speed with the technical aspects of the role and then being based in Bristol thereafter (this is flexible).

The role:

You will need to have at least 4/5 years experience in Aerospace, experience of designing rotating machines not at systems level this role requires equipment level design (aircraft systems knowledge is a bonus).

You will then take the ECR (Electrical/Engineering Change Request) find out what the problem is, liaise with a technical expert and get the problem fixed. This will involve design/development of motors, generators, AC and DC.

The rate on offer is £30-35 per hour.
