Electrical Project Engineer - 4 Months - Staffordshire

A client based in Staffordshire is looking for an Electrical Project Engineer. This will be for an initial 4 month contract.

Immediately start.

Role:

- Electrical Field Design
- Site Surveys to establish project requirements
- Field Electrical Design
- Cable Block Diagrams (Interface with Design Engineers)
- Cable Calculations
- Site Installation Tender Enquiries & Procurement
- Instrumentation
- Instrumentation Specification & Procurement
- Supplier Interface
- Instrument Schedules
- Control Panels
- Interface with Design Engineers
- Testing at Suppliers prior to delivery to site (MCC's, PLC & RIO Panels)
- Site Installation Management
- Control Panel Ingress Supervision
- Dry Testing - IO Checking, Motor Rotation, Instrument & VSD settings and parameters

Requirements

- Proven track record of Site Electrical Installation
- Good understanding and awareness of Health & Safety (Ideally trained)
- Good understanding of working to a quality system ie ISO9001
- A good appreciation of IEE Wiring Regulations, 17th Edition
- Qualified Electrical Engineer/HNC/HND or Degree
