Are you experienced working within Electrical or Mechanical assembly? Interested in working for a leading consultancy? If so my client needs to hear from you. Based in a very rural location in the heart of Cambridgeshire, my client is a very successful Mechanical Engineering consultancy that specialise in concept generation and innovative ideas. With a large customer/client list, my client is desperately seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembly technician who is looking for a varied working day working on precision engineered components to extremely close tolerances.

THE SALARY/RATE/PACKAGE/BENEFITS
Electrical/Mechanical Technician
* 19-25 per hour
* Initial 3-6 month contract
* Based in rural Cambridgeshire
* On site cook with subsidised menu
* Comfortable working environment

THE CANDIDATE
Electrical/Mechanical Technician
Essential Skills/Requirements
* Must have a good background within electrical/mechanical assembly or in a technicians working environment
* High level of skill with soldering of components, ideally down to component level
* Ability to test and trial parts using test rigs and test equipment
* IT Literate
* Good communication skills, need to be able to discuss the issues that you may be facing to the engineers who will then turn the issues into solutions

THE ROLE
Electrical/Mechanical Technician
My client is seeking an Electro/Mechanical Technician to work on a 3-6 month project. Ideally as the successful candidate you will have experience working with electrical and mechanical assemblies and be competent to work on your own accord. This particular position will require you to work on several different tasks including soldering to PCB level, Testing parts using test rigs, communicating results to a technical level and ensuring quality and integrity of the product is kept to the highest possible standards at all times.
