Electrical-Mechanical Drafter Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Works very closely with project engineers, Project Managers and other project team members to create, modify and maintain system drawings, site development drawings, and any other drawing documentation. All drawings are created in 2D with AutoCAD. No 3D or modelling software is used to develop drawings.
- Works on multiple projects to generate, modify and develop final "As-Built" AutoCAD drawings.
- Works closely with the Drafting Group

Leads multiple project teams for the development of system drawing packages. - Learns internal standards and quality control procedures to develop drawing packages.
- Collaborates with the individual(s) responsible for providing input for system drawing packages.
- Gathers, organizes and interprets engineering notes and measurements to develop drawings.

SKILLS

Must have a minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent certified program. Three to five (3-5) years of experience in Computer Aided Drafting with AutoCAD 2008 or above required. Must possess strong organizational skills and effective communications skills, both verbal and written. Must have specific knowledge and expertise in AutoCAD 2008 or above, Windows 7 Professional
Microsoft Office 2007 programs and Adobe Acrobat 8.0 or above. Microsoft Visio Suite is a plus.
