Electrical Engineering Manager - Glasgow

You will be joining a growing team, based in Glasgow and you will be very well remunerated if you have the right experience and attitude. This is an opportunity for you to join one of the UK's leaders in the development of Renewable Energy projects and Power Generation. You will be leading a team of Electrical Engineers and your overall responsibilities in brief will include: - Overall responsibility for the delivery and quality of the Electrical Engineering team's work. - Training, coaching and general line management of a specialist team. - Business development and winning of new Electrical specific work. - Continuous review to ensure the high quality work from the Electrical Engineering team. You should have substantial experience in at least some of the following: - Grid code technical requirements and associated industry technical specifications. - Preparing and reviewing technical schedules - Switchgear, cables, lines, transformers and equipment at voltages of up to 400kV. - SCADA and protection equipment requirements associated with transmission, distribution and renewable projects. You should be chartered Electrical Engineer with degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. An important part of being considered for this role will rely on your desire to work in an exciting and variable world of a renewable energy environment. You should have a genuine interest in the Renewable Energy industry and be self-motivated, flexible and with a problem solving approach.
