Electrical Engineer - Space Power Design Job

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (Space Power Design) needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Palm Bay, FL.

The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Circuit Simulation
- MathCAD

What You'll Be Doing:
- Ability to design discrete power converters for space environments.
- Have working knowledge of common power converter topologies including forward, fly-back converters, and buck regulators.
- Experience designing and specifying custom magnetic devices.
- Assignments will include Custom analog design using op amps, comparators, linear regulators, and discrete transistor circuit design.
- Assignments will include radiation effects analysis, end-of-life analysis, and worst case analysis.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- Eight to ten (8 - 10) years of minimum applicable experience.
- Technical Skills (Experience in Circuit simulation and analysis tools such as PSPICE, MathCAD, and Ansoft SI Wave).

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- MIL-STD-704 and MIL-STD-461 experience.
