Electrical Engineer (Facility) Job

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (FACILITY) needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in EMERYVILLE, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Motor Control Wiring
- Designing and installing electrical equipment for facilities
- Direct experience working in a regulated environment ie cGMP, OSHA, EPA preferred

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Directly supports site capital projects by performing engineering studies, specifying, designing and overseeing installation of electrical equipment
- Oversee operations and maintenance of electrical infrastructure and power systems
- Provide overall electrical guidance for facility capital projects involving design
- Review and estimate design cost including equipment wiring and installation
- Assure compliance with regulatory requirements including NEC, UL, NFPA, IEEE and OSHA standards
- Responsible for project management of all the electrical installations
- Develop drawings and prepare layouts, estimates and justify cost
- Develop specifications and scope of work for electrical contractors
- Prepare electrical drawings such as single and three phase systems, panel board schedules, calculations, motor control wiring, etc

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Motor Control Wiring
- Designing and installing electrical equipment for facilities
- Direct experience working in a regulated environment ie cGMP, OSHA, EPA preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years related industry experience required.
