Electrical Engineer

A Global Renewable Energy client is looking for an Electrical Engineer to work on their offshore wind farm project. Our client is looking for an individual who can start this role approx. 1st December 2015 up until approx. 30th November 2017. Hours of work are 5 days per week, app 8 hours per day.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for the two 400kV Generator bays for their offshore wind farm project, from the initial phase with procurement and specifications through design, installation, commissioning and energisation. The consultant will be responsible for another HV package on their onshore substation, yet to be determined.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- BSc EE or similar electro technical education
- 4 - 5 experience from similar position
- 4 - 5 years of practical as well as theoretical experience within electrical HV/MV components in onshore/offshore substations
- 4 - 5 Electrical engineer with experience with 400kV Substation design and 400kV switchgear
- Experience with National Grid substations are also a requirement

The Consultant must bring his/her own mobile telephone.

Onshore works: The client will provide office facilities available to the Consultant including office space and a PC.
