you will need a good knowledge of BS7671, need electrical design and installation experience with particular attention to the following:
1) Rail or underground experience would be an advantage.
2) Design of power distribution systems.
3) Power, Control & Isolation Transformers.
4) Cable selection and installation methods (Volt-drop, earth-loop, Minimum bending radius).
5) Design of LV distribution including current & time discrimination.
6) Good Knowledge of Earthing & Bonding techniques.
7) Commercial awareness during the process of technical procurement or assistance to the procurement dept.
8) Be able to work in a logical manner to achieve milestone targets on a program of works.
9) Be a flexible thinker offering alternative solutions for problem solving consideration.
10) Good knowledge of testing procedures & techniques.
The hourly rate on offer is £25-33 Per Hour
