Electrical Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a global Oil and Gas operator who is offering an excellent career opportunity for experienced Electrical Engineers. The position of Electrical Engineer offers a fantastic opportunity on a long-term contract basis with the potential for further extension, with a major Oil and Gas operator in Aberdeen on an excellent package.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting operations and site engineering teams in the ongoing maintenance and repair of the electrical equipment installed on onshore and offshore sites. Including HV and LV generation, HV/LV switchgear and associated distribution and control systems. HV/LV motor drives, UPS and battery supported systems.

To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:

*Relevant Oil and Gas industry experience
*Extensive onsite electrical operations and maintenance experience
*HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering
*Significant Electrical engineering experience (raising/reviewing procedures, specifications, technical reports)
*Valid offshore certification
