Electrical Engineer

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER-CHANDLER, AZ-12 MONTH CONTRACT

We're looking for an Electrical Engineer with basic software experience. Successful candidate will have conducted some level of power analysis on chipsets. S/He will be working alongside a performance benchmarking and analysis team that is focused on the improvement of power consumption of various drivers.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Proven understanding of PC architecture
- Power analysis expertise
- Electrical Engineering degree
- Ability to analyze and conduct problem analysis
- Experience installing software and drivers on Windows operating systems
- Good communication/presentation skills and the ability to communicate to others the technical viability of their analysis
- Ability to proactively try different solutions to debug issues and include information in technical analysis/bug reports
- Experience configuring client processor based/Windows OS systems preferred, ie adding hardware, graphics cards, hard drives, installing drivers, troubleshooting issues
- Desire to work with the newest technology and to learn and deal with the resulting challenges
- Experience executing manual and automated test scripts and reporting test pass/fail data in a controlled QA environment preferred
- Experience using source control tools, defect tracking tools preferred
