Electrical Engineer

Yoh has an exciting 12 month contract for an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER, (mid level and senior level), to join our client located in Deer Park, IL.

Job Overview:
The Transmission group in Deer Park is seeking two Electrical Engineers to join the team, one senior level and one mid level. This individual will be joining one of the group's program teams on supporting a major US Automotive manufacturer and is expected to be motivated, self started and able to work with minimum supervision in a challenging environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop analog/digital circuit for automotive use.
- Select and test new electronic components. Perform WCA, DMFEA, bench testing.
- Ensure design compliance to customer specification.
- Analyze and troubleshoot modules in the lab and if needed at customer site.
- Follow and apply Engineering and Quality procedures.
- Support the customer in all related questions.
- Follow continuous improvement activities regarding supplied components, design, and manufacturing processes.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology or Electronics is required.
- Three to five (3 - 5) or ten (10+) years of experience in electronics design and development.
- Automotive experience is required.
- Able to apply design/developments tools as required. (FMEA, 8D Methodology, etc.).
- Experience with schematic entry and simulation tools.
- Very good organizational and communication skills.
