A large Engineering firm in Southeast Michigan is looking for a SR Electrical Engineer.The Candidate will primarily perform all aspects of electrical engineering in connection with client consulting, feasibility studies, construction documents, and construction administration for commercial and institutional projects. Contract position

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare electrical designs and drawings of building elements, site facilities, or engineering systems
- Liaises internally with project managers and other discipline project leaders to obtain project information and to discuss specific design related problems

REQUIREMENTS

- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- PE Perferred
- Minimum of 7-10 years related experience in commercial / industrial consulting and design
- Strong knowledge of the building code, National Electrical Codes and NFPA 70E
- Perform short circuit calculations or Arc Flash calculations
- CAD experience
