Electrical Engineer

Leading machine manufacturer for the Food industry are looking for their first Electrical Engineer with a focus on Control systems to joining their highly experienced technical team on the Merseyside area. The provide turnkey solutions to the World's andUK's largest food manufacturers, and offer a great opportunity for a customer focused and skilled electrical engineer.

You will be office based and the key feature of meeting customers for initial specification and handle enquiries. You will also follow the project through to completion, and work with the Engineering team abroad ensuring you are offering the correct and most up to date. You will also go to client site to discuss requirements, specifications or any service issues, and when necessary be hands on enough to be able to solve the problem.

Experience

- You will be from a manufacturing background of processing machines for food, special purpose machinery or machine design.
- You will be able to interpret and make modifications to electrical wiring diagrams.
- Take specifications from customers, liaise with them throughout the project and handle customer enquiries regarding electrical aspects.
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix problems with control systems on customer site.
- You will have experience with Allen Bradley, and additional systems such as Siemens (S5, S7) and Mitsubishi would be a bonus.
- Some experience of inverter drives and the cascade control of these drives.

Personality wise you will be a strong team player fitting in to a small driven team, a self starter, with a lot of self disciplined to achieve your goals on a daily basis.
