Electrical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Design new products of electromagnetic components and EMC filters from initial concept feasibility studies to final product certification
- Create electrical design and related documents as per customer specification and agreed timelines
- Cooperate and coordinate with R&D as well as with production team to resolve issues and improve design quality
- Assume responsibility for the assigned design groups from concept development until approval of final design
- Documenting technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering design guidelines and procedures (IATF-16949)
- Create specification, documentation and manuals for internal and external users
- Technical clarification with international suppliers
- Hands-on debugging and testing during development project
- Ensure on-time release of the BOM to meet the manufacturing targets

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s/Master (FH/ETH) degree in Electrical Engineering 
- Experience in a similar position in best case experience in power electronic
- Proven know-how in designing of electromagnetic components and EMC filters for manufacture 
- Previous work experience in the automotive field is of advantage
- Engineering documentation skills (e.g. BOMs, Design History, Invention Disclosures, Revision Control)
- Ability to work accurately and methodically, often under pressure and tight deadlines
- Flexible, enthusiastic individual who is self-motivated and able to work well under own initiative
- Organized and able to handle multiple projects and prioritize workload
- Proven ability to analyze and solve problems
- Capacity to think "out of the box" 
- Fluent in English
