Electrical Design Engineer

My client who are based in the Lincolnshire area have a requirement for a Electrical Design Engineer to join them on an initial 6 month contract.

The ideal candidate will have a previous track record of working within an electrical design position.

Role

*Interpretation of design and CAD standards and application to design deliverables
*Deliver detailed design deliverables including Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, General Electrical Equipment Layouts, Lighting Layouts, Earthing Layouts, Hazardous Area Layouts, Cable Schedules and Substation layouts
*Competent user of discipline specific technical software including Amtech
*Able to design the range of building electrical services
*Design of electrical services including power, lighting and the range ELV systems
*Able to communicate clearly in written, sketch and drawn forms to people at all levels

Essential

*IEng/TechEng
*CG 2396 Design and Verification of Electrical Installations

Optional

*Must have experience in Industry standard 2D CAD while experience in 3D CAD would also be highly beneficial
*Network Rail experience
