Electrical Design Engineer

A key client based in the East Midlands is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer for an initial 3 month contract. Ideally they will be looking for someone to start ASAP.

Essential skills:

Current relevant qualifications in electrical engineering

Solid recent experience in PLC-based hardware design for complete industrial processes, rather than individual machines

Experience designing circuits for motor starters, and a variety of apparatus (eg valves, level sensors, limit Switches, temperature sensors, etc)

Work to provided hardware specification and relevant standards (eg EN 60204, BS-EN 13849)

Nice to have skills (not essential and in no particular order):

Hardware design for Rockwell or Siemens S7 based control systems using fieldbus

Using bespoke hardware design CAD packages

RUPlan experience
