Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer to be responsible for the electrical/avionic design of aircraft equipment, systems and components plus the design associated with the installation into aircraft of equipment, systems and components in accordance with the technical requirements and the Statement of Work.

Typical activities will include the below.

Analysis of the requirement and specification of equipment, components and systems to meet the performance needs stated in the Technical Specification.
Specification of the electrical/avionic systems interfaces compatible with the installation requirements.
Full definition of equipment, components, systems and installations thus specified to enable manufacture, installation, test and certification.
Schedule planning and control of the design process to achieve the requirement of the Technical Specification.
Participation as a Design Team Member in collaboration with Manufacturing and Engineering in delivering equipment, components and systems to meet the Technical Specification.
Delivering the required technical solution to meet the schedule and man-hour budget agreed in the Statement of Work.
To conform to the procedures, processes and standards defined by the Chief Designer and the Quality Assurance Manager to meet the Technical Specification and to satisfy the Terms and Conditions of Contract.
Participation in the process of reporting technical progress associated with achieving the programme milestones.
The successful candidate will have experience of Electrical Design using Autocad on Electrical Avionic equipment or systems.
