Electrical Design Engineer

One of the UK's leading suppliers to multiple prestigious companies in the rail and transport industries is looking to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer on a 3 month ongoing contract basis.

Joining a dedicated team of design and project engineers, you will be required to respond to multiple customer orders and produce electrical schematics and cable diagrams for rolling stock projects. Alongside your primary responsibilities in a design engineer capacity, you will also be required to verify and validate existing systems along with current projects as they are developed. There may also be occasions where you will need to act in a client-facing capacity as the projects develop and near completion.

You should be a proficient electrical design engineer, who is fluent with electrical CAD and has some experience with Zuken software. Ideally you'll have previous experience within the rail industry, however this is not essential if you can demonstrate a strong electrical design background with the relevant software.
