Electrical Design Engineer

I am seeking an electrical designer (along C&I lines) for equipment installations.

My requirements are outlined below:

- Rapidly and accurately produce cabling and wiring drawings, containment layouts, and cable schedules.
- Proficient using AutoCAD and MS Excel for the above.
- Understand and have experience of cabling/connector configurations - not just electrical power, but also networks, signals, EMC. Also understand basic electrical principles - fuse/cable sizing, cable containment systems, etc
- Good mechanical/spatial awareness for cable routing and layout considerations
- An understanding of any of the following would be very useful - precision motion control, basic vacuum systems, safety interlock systems, communication protocols, regulatory framework.
- Apply DLS design procedures to control and track changes.
- Effectively turn concepts from scientists/engineers into working designs.
- Able to explain design drawings to technicians building equipment.
- Able to obtain information and data from colleagues and suppliers in order to progress and coordinate designs.
- Ability both to grasp overall concepts, and to pay close attention to detail.
