Electrical Design Engineer

A Fortune 500 energy company is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer and an I&C Design Engineer at Harris Nuclear Plant in New Hill, NC. This project is scheduled to last 1 year, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates are highly preferred, but per diem and mobilization / demobilization may be available for qualified candidates. Actual pay rate will be commensurate with experience, so all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Please indicate your desired rate during the application process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work in a Project Core Team at Harris Nuclear Plant
- Act as Subject Matter Expert in Electrical or I&C Design Engineering to work with the team and the vendor in all aspects of Design Engineering, Project Planning and Project Monitoring & Control of those areas, including the installation period

REQUIREMENTS

- At least 10 years experience in Nuclear Plant Design Engineering
- Reactor head replacement experience is a definite plus
