Electrical Controls Engineer

My client who are based in the Yorkshire area have a requirement for a Electrical Controls Engineer to join them on a 6 month contract.

Experience Requirements:

- 5-10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering position designing control and automation systems including field device and plant instrumentation integration.
- Must have experience in PLC systems design and programming
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley Logix series PLC system design and programming is strongly preferred and is a plus
- Knowledge of Mitsubishi PLC system design and programming is a plus
- Knowledge of ProfiBus system architecture and programming is a plus
- Experience in programming SCADA Front End systems using WonderWare or similar Industrial Automation Software
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical is preferred but knowledge of other automated electrical design tool is a plus
- Experience in electro-mechanical system design
- Ability to understand mechanical design drawings and layouts
- Must be able to interpret technical specifications and industry regulations
- Ability to stay organised and multi task
- Strong project management and planning skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in the use of the standard Microsoft suit of products
- Ability to travel internationally
- Fluent writing and speaking of German is a must, knowledge of other languages is a huge plus.
