Electrical & Controls Engineer

This role is based in the central belt of Scotland and is primarily an office based role. Some travel may be involved on occasions. Below are a some of the tasks and responsibilities that are involved in this role:

Designing and developing new control systems using Allen Bradley and Siemens software

Maintaining and modifying existing systems

Sizing various electrical components, such as electric motors

Project Management within cost and time constrained environments

Troubleshooting and problem-solving

Understanding and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards

Defining what equipment should be purchased for your designs

Writing computer software

Developing new business proposals

Working collaboratively with Design Engineers and other employees

Liaising with clients, suppliers and contractors
