Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation Engineers

You will be working for a large government body on the Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation Inspection team where you will be consulting with Oil and Gas companies on their equipment, procedures and practices offshore. You will: -Have a strong technical degree (Preferably in Electrical, Instrumentation and Control) -Offshore experience -Oil and Gas experience -Preferably Chartered. If you are not Chartered you must be qualified to a standard where you can achieve chartered status The role: -Work with all levels of Engineers and Management within Oil and Gas companies to ensure that standards are met -Work with companies when they are developing new technologies to ensure they meet standards -Travel offshore to inspect equipment -Travel offshore to deal with Emergency Incident investigations -You must have a strong technical background as you will be in control when you are offshore and can effect whether a platform is Shutdown or Not.
