Electrical Control Engineer Job

ELECTRICAL CONTROL ENGINEER needed for a 12 MONTH CONTRACT assignment with Yoh's client located in Oklahoma City, OK.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The Electrical Controls Engineer will be responsible to ensure that unit control systems operate effectively, efficiently and safely (engine controls).
- The engineer will work with the vendors who manufacture and supply the equipment to be used and with the customer for whom it is intended.
- The position requires the ability to work closely with colleagues across a number of functions including the Project Managers, Procurement, Design and Field Service teams.
- Design, development and commissioning of new control systems and control systems upgrades.
- Support capital projects for Aftermarket business
- Troubleshoot existing control systems
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and applicable industry codes
- Write new code, especially for Allen Bradley (Rockwell software) and Siemens systems using both text and ladder logic.
- Stay current with new technologies and capabilities in controls systems and instrumentation. Look for opportunities to integrate into current systems or develop new design systems.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS in Electrical Engineering or Masters in Electrical Engineer degree with outstanding Controls experience, ideally with engines.
- Five (5) years of related control engineering experience.
- Design experience, with recent extensive practical experience.
- Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell/Siemens.
- Ability to Design, Develop, Commission and Troubleshoot Control Systems.
