IDPP is looking for an experienced Electrical Construction Designer for a permanent position based in Noord Brabant, The Netherlands.

As Electrical Construction Designer you will be working for a large player in the Semi-Conductor industry, where you will join the Electronic Development team, who are responsible for the definition, realization, qualification and integration of electronic functions and modules for the current and future product lines.

You will be operating in a multidisciplinary team in which you will participate in the realization of electrical products. Your main focus will be to construct Technical Product Documentation (TPD). Key duties will be to define, realize, manage and maintain various environmental electrical products such as: cables, racks, cabinets, connection boxes, connection plates, back panels, rear panels, controller PCB's, operator consoles, fan units, computers, computer racks & cabinets, processor boards, network Switches and cabling.

Job description

- 2D and 3D CAD design of electrical products.
- Generate TPD (technical product documentation)
- Maintain high quality level by organizing reviews
- Contribute to work breakdown and planning
- Act as an interface to external suppliers.

Required skills & Experience

- Experience as designer, including experience with multidisciplinary module design.
- Experience with 2D and 3D CAD design of complex products, experience with NX.
- Broad technical knowledge of cabling concepts, connectivity concepts, EMC, safety.
