MY DUTIES:

- Improvement of LOTO procedure 
- Responsible for LOTO register
- Responsible for the overall LOTO management according to costumer guidelines
- Responsible for „Safety Schedule“ (=Tool to maange and track all Safety activities
- Responsibile for delivering a work permit process in compliance with costumer standards
- Review and refocus the execution of the construction safety plan
- Further develop and propose new concepts to manage construction under the influence of the COVID19 pandemic
- Review of Method Statements / Risk assessments
- Facilitation of Last Minute Risk Assessments 
- Lead and structure the safety and logistics team (1 - 2 supervisors)
- Close collaboration with Customer, construction and commissionign leads
- Prepare and moderate the weekly safety leadership team meeting 
- Conduct construction side walks, participate to the weekly SiGeKo walk 
- Ambassador of a 0 accident culture
- Lead and document safety incident/ accident investigations
- Motivate disciplin engineers (of Engineering Office and cusotmer) as well as contractors to hand in safety observations to participate to the safety observation lottery 
- Lead and organize the construction safety incentive programm 
- Mentoring / Coaching of all involved people on the construction / commissioning site

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- NEBOSH Occupational Health & Safety, SMSTS Managers Safety, or comparable safety education 
- Profound experience in highly safety regulated construction projects in a relevant safety position 
- Languages: German, Englisch, fluency in both languages is mandatory
- Excell, Power Point experienced practitioner 
- Strong communicator 
- Leadership skills
- Ability to positively influence and communicate in the sense of a zero accident culture
