EHS Support Consultant

EHS SUPPORT

For our client, a major equipment vendor we are looking for a qualified EHS person to support our client on a long-term contract based in Oslo, Norway.

We seek a consultant to supply EHS support for our client Motorola's ongoing project which is about setting up and maintaining a nation wide Telecommunication system, this includes civil works (tower erections, roof top mounts etc.) and installations of telecommunication equipment in all Norway.

THE EHS TASK INCLUDES

Support Motorola Management team and staff with EHS services. Ensure Motorola Solutions Norway complies with all relevant EHS related regulations. Serve as EHS subject matter expert for field staff.

Managing and developing an existing EHS Management System. Review and update Risk assessments. Identify required trainings and organize in alignment with project management

Managing Safe Job Analysis form Supplies and archive them as per management system

If necessary, accident investigations

Audit Suppliers and construction sites regularly (once a month)

Weekly communication with customer

Periodic communication with country management team

Position requires Norway security clearance

Person needs to have personal insurance (in case of accident/injury)

COMPUTER SKILLS:

No special skills required, MS Office and a project specific file sharing system. PC will be supplied by Motorola Solutions

Motorola Solutions is located in an office building in Oslo. The position reports to the project director, supported from the Motorola Solutions EMEA EHS team.

Scandinavian speaking candidates are preferred.
