An opportunity to join one of the world's largest integrated service companies has arisen for someone with a senior sales and completions background. Experience * Significant sales experience * Demonstrated business acumen and delivery of sales growth * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Oil & Gas experience across multiple product lines and multiple geographies (strongly preferable) Skills * Thorough understanding of customer needs and preferences. Thorough understanding of all product lines offered * Need to be able to identify and exploit synergistic sales opportunities across Product lines * Needs to be able to adopt the strategic business perspective of the Managing Director * Needs very strong sales, negotiation, business development, customer service skills. * Needs to have strong leadership skills to create an efficient and effective sales organization. * Needs to be able to lead Sales employees to high performance in the business model. Requirements The Sales Director acts as liaison between sales/business development and the Managing Director. Ensures implementation of marketing plans for development of business into new geographic areas and/or of new business into an already established geographic area. Guided by and contributes to the Managing Director's profitability objectives through revenue growth (grow sales to current and new customers, grow new markets) and cost containment (making informed sales decisions to minimize total operational costs, prioritizing sales and business development activities to maximize cost-effectiveness). Provides perspective in aligning sales and business development strategies with those of the Region. Collaborates with Operations and Engineering Support to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction and meet growth targets. Role has ultimate responsibility for maintaining and cultivating current customer base while acquiring new customers and penetrating new markets. Responsible for effective people management including selecting/hiring employees, managing employee performance, and training/developing employees in both technical (product, operations, HSE) and non-technical (project management, sales, communications, supervisory skills) subjects. Responsible for providing product organization and operations recommendations for continuous improvement based on customer interaction. Manages sales activities through lower level Product Technical Sales and Account representatives, ensuring: * Seamless and synergistic teamwork between Product Technical Sales and Account representatives * Technical Sales representatives have comprehensive specialized technical knowledge of their respective products, while advancing their working knowledge of the other product lines. They also have strong customer service and sales skills to strengthen customer relationships and grow sales
