Eftpos Terminal Developer

Our Client is Sydney is looking for an EFTPOS Terminal Developer to join their team.

Summary of duties:

Undertake software development activities for assigned projects that may involve, but is not limited to:

- EFTPOS 
- Smartcard systems (EMV, Contactless)
- Secure pin pad devices
- Documentation
- Performance of these duties may involve interfacing with Customers, Sales Staff, and Project Management.

Tasks:

- Designing and implementing new and existing Financial and Electronic Communication Systems
- Creating or reviewing functional specification of user applications with regard to completeness, consistency, and ease of implementation
- Creating or reviewing design specifications
- Software coding in the appropriate language in specified modules or projects
- Software faults/changes are to be remedied with the change and version control in place at that time
- Create accurate estimates of implementation times in co operation with assigned Project Manager and report on progress
- Co operate with other departments as required to perform assigned duties or reasonably assist other staff in performing their duties.

To be considered, you should possess:

- Previous experience in software development
- Experience in C/C++
- Knowledge of SmartCards (EMV)
