EDW Consultant, Major Transformation, Melbourne

FUNCTION:

- This major financial services organization in Melbourne is embarking on a journey that will see them build their new world for Information Management.
- Having recently completed a proof of concept for their new EDW, they are looking to onboard an EDW Architect who has a proven track record in implementing EDW platforms into production.
- This role is all about putting in the foundation and the building blocks to ultimately allow the organization to build a true EDW platform and ensure that the appropriate levels of data governance and data quality management is applied to the solution in order to maintain sustainable growth and on-going maintenance.
- Strength and depth across various areas of banking and/or finance on the business side is going to be extremely important throughout the entire project .The business users need to embrace the new world and they will demand a seamless transition, enhanced performance and greater autonomy with their use of the data.

YOUR PROFILE:

- You must have a proven track record in the implementation of Enterprise Data warehouses for blue chip financial services organisations. The EDW platform/s you've implemented must have been successfully delivered into the production environments with evidence that the business is using the platform to make decisions.
- Solid understanding from the business side within a large financial services organisation.
- Data warehousing, data integration, business intelligence, information/metadata management, development management, application/solution architectures, data architecture/modelling.
- Quality assurance of information management solutions (Data warehousing and business intelligence).
- An ability to see the bigger picture from a high strategic level, but also dive into the detail and be tactical in your thinking when required.
- Project Management experience and the ability to understand the interdependencies of multiple Information Management related projects.
- Working with global IT Outsource Partners and large vendors.

We offer:
