EDS Design Engineer

A globally recognised name in automotive product design is now looking to recruit an additional 2 EDS design engineers on a 6 month contract basis, with potential for the roles to become on-going positions.

Joining a dedicated team of design and project engineers, you will be required to respond to multiple customer orders and produce EDS and wiring designs using Catia V5. Alongside your primary responsibilities in a design engineer capacity, you will also be required to verify and validate existing systems along with current projects as they are developed. There may also be occasions where you will need to liaise with the quality department to support APQP activities.

You should be a proficient design engineer, who is fluent with Catia V5 and able to demonstrate a strong automotive background, with previous experience relating to wiring and harness design. Ideally you should also be familiar with TCE P2, and have a working knowledge of FPDS, DVP, FMEA and APQP.
