Editorial Director/Editor/London/Agency

THE COMPANY

ConSol Partners are looking for an Editorial Director for a 6-12 month contract based in Central London. My client is a leading social/digital agency based in the heart of the city and they're currently growing out an innovative Social Content Creation Team to work with some of their global brands. They are expanding out the social/content department currently, so it's an exciting time to become part of this growth. 

THE ROLE

They want someone who is going to lead an entirely new strategy and creative process across all of their major brands (including a leading automotive brand). You will be managing the community, planning content creation, defining the Content Strategy through all their social channels and recruiting/developing the social media team. 

THE INDIVIDUAL

- Excellent experience in editorial/content work and being able to create content from all levels.
- Prior experience in leading a team and directing the way in which Content is delivered in this team.
- Have strong technical and tools experience eg. Radian6, Gorkana, Social Bakers, Buddy media etc.
- Good understanding of social platforms (commercially), most notably FB, Twitter, LinkedIn.
- Be an excellent networker and have solid connections across content production companies and social networks.
- Having some experience of working in an agency environment will be beneficial.
