Ediscovery/Litigation Technology Specialist

e/Discovery/Litigation Technology Specialist with experience of eDiscovery tool suite, SQL, Java, C# and/or Python. You are needed to join an eDiscovery Technology Services specialist unit. We are looking for someone to manage and support different cases by processing structured and unstructured data.

You will be supporting complex civil litigation and regulatory and internal investigations by collecting and processing data. The Processing Team in eDiscovery Technology Services maintains their own Litigation infrastructure and supports cases from data processing until production.

Role Description:
You will be required to work with both our collection management team and our lawyers to uncover and organize factual information relevant for legal proceedings and investigations.

Responsibilities include:
- Data Pre-Processing, eg Decryption, De-duplication, and Password Recovery
- Data Processing, eg filtering, keyword application, etc.
- Support of Review, Redaction, and Production, conducted by In-house or Outside Counsel

Experience required
- 5+ years of IT experience in a financial services organisation

Essential Skills
- Strong background in databases and/or document management systems
- Experience with software development languages and Scripting like: SQL, Java, C#, VBA, Python
- Strong analytical skills and ability to filter and structure factual information for use in legal proceedings or investigations
- Outstanding team spirit and communication skills, ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- A strong ability to multi-task and manage varying priorities and projects and high attention to detail and accuracy

Desirable skills
- Knowledge of litigation support technology and/or e-discovery tool sets like: LAW, IPro, Concordance, Relativity, NUIX, Recommind, Clearwell
- Experience in litigation or internal investigative work, for instance in a compliance organization
- Work experience in the financial industry
- Able to influence and engage individuals and teams to achieve goals
- Organised, articulate and able to gain commitment from others
- Driven and focused on outcome
- Fluent English. German is beneficial
