This position supports the onboarding, testing and training of carriers (Truck Load, LTL, Air and Ocean). This is performed utilizing standard methods of sending and receiving Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions, specifically XML code sets.


- 1-3 years professional experience in supply chain or customer service/tech support
- Basic knowledge of Web Based Applications, EDI, XML, and or data transmission methods preferred
- Some knowledge of or experience in Procurement, Transportation Management Systems and Logistics preferred
- Ability to work in teams or independently
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrate effective problem solving and decision making skills
- Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills
- Detail oriented, ability to effectively multitask
- Working knowledge of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Office products
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in computer science or related field
- Training and presentation experience a plus



- Develop on boarding plan with multiple carriers.
- Coordinate testing of EDI messages with carriers.
- Perform all necessary training (system and business process) for carriers and suppliers.
- Quality Assurance - ensure compliance with specifications, data quality, and service level.
- Develop on boarding plan with multiple suppliers domestic and international.
- Coordinate testing of supplier web portal and EDI messages with suppliers.

Testing and Troubleshooting

- Troubleshoot failed production EDI messages with internal and external resources.
- Provide timely and thorough follow up with, internal and external customers.
- Appropriately escalate difficult issues up the chain of command.


- Develop and maintain training documents.
- Train new support analysts or cross train other employees.

Communication and Collaboration

- Serve on committees, work groups, and/or process improvement teams, as assigned, to assist in improving quality/customer satisfaction.
- Recognize and alert appropriate supervisor of trends within their scope of responsibility that fall outside of quality parameters.
- Provide ongoing feedback to help optimize quality performance.
- Collaborate with others and cross-departmentally to improve or streamline procedures.
