Eddy Current Engineer

You will be working with engineers to develop existing equipment so that it can be customised to the necessary job.

The Eddy Current Engineer/NDT technician will have a PCN level 2 or level 3 qualification in Eddy current testing, will be the main technical expert and the Engineering Manager's adviser on any technical issues.

You must have experience of working with a test team inspecting Eddy currents and have a good understanding of the design process/working with a design team. You will be taking charge of each technical requirement, translating it into a plan, putting together technical proposals, writing procedures and taking techniques to site.

A background in nuclear or O&G industries is ideal and the position will be customer facing so good communication skills are essential.
