ED/Director Level Desk Quant - Top Tier Bank - Equities

My Client is looking to add an experienced quantitative analyst to their London equities team at either ED or Director Level. The role will encompass everything from managing other quants to the development and implementation of new models and trader support.

Experience:
- 5+ years in a front office quant role supporting the equity business. (for outstanding candidates will consider other asset class)
- Should be comfortable with standard modelling approaches
- Additionally should have a strong working knowledge of both flow/vanilla business and associated issues.

Education:
- Preferably Ph.D./PostDoc but Masters from a good university is fine.
- Must be in a numerate discipline (Engineering, Maths, Physics, etc.)
- Good programming knowledge of C++

Skills:
- Strong analytical skills combined with a good intuition.
- Good technical communication is essential
- Self driven and able to take ownership of supporting a front-office business.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and a track record of mentoring and directing skilled quants.
