Economist- Monetary Policy

Experienced Economist with knowledge of monetary policy will be joining a top analytical group inNew York.

For a top Financial Institution, this is an exciting role for candidates with exceptional research and analysis capabilities of financial markets.

This experienced economist will be involved in the formulation of monetary policy and the planning of its implementation. The candidate must have an in depth understanding of econometrics and asset pricing. Candidate must have great communication skills, be able to collaborate and analyze large sets of data. This group offers the right individual the opportunity to publish reports and advise senior management across fixed income, foreign exchange, equity, and credit. Quantitative analysts with interest in the financial markets will be ideal.

The right candidate will have:

- extensive programming in Matlab
- Database skills
- Masters or PhD in Economics or Finance
- Strong communication skills and research capabilities
- Must have knowledge of Monetary Policy
