Projektbeschreibung

Economic Reporting in UK&I GI Finance is currently undergoing significant development and plays an important role in bringing to life the principles of Solvency II, which are being Embedded in Aviva via the Economic Capital Infrastructure Programme.

This role is responsible for supporting the Economic Reporting Manager in successful delivery of the following Business As Usual Economic Reporting for UK&I GI:

. Economic Balance Sheet (compliant with ICA and Solvency II regulations)
. Economic Profit & Loss
. Economic metrics, including Economic Gain and Economic Margin
. Other economic and capital reporting to support the wider team as required

The key responsibilities of the role are to:

. Support the continuing development and embedding of a long term solution for UK&I GI Economic Reporting into monthly and year-end Business As Usual.
. Embed robust and effective processes, controls and governance around Internal and Regulatory Economic Reporting.
. Engage with key stakeholders in creating and supporting governance structures.
. Continue the development of Economic Reporting methodology that meets the requirements of the flightpath to Solvency II and supports business decisions.
. Ensure proper integration with the overall Economic Capital Infrastructure programme (ECIP) framework and business environment.
. Continue the development of capital reporting capabilities in Financial Reporting.
. Coordinate delivery of material and inputs from key suppliers of data and information.
. Successfully manage risk, issues and dependencies associated with delivery of above.
. Degree and professional accountancy qualification preferred

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

. Ability to learn quickly, understand and apply complex financial concepts
. Strong mental agility. Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity
. Enthusiastic and motivated
. Adaptable to change
. Ability to prioritise and remain organised while performing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
. Communication skills, both written and presentational

EXPERIENCE
. Experience in the insurance industry or large multinational organisation
. Experience in IFRS financial reporting and/or control preferred
. Awareness of capital management/financial modelling/solvency disciplines or requirements preferred
. Experience of delivery focussed environment
. Experience in delivering change
. Problem solving skills
. Experience with using financial systems desirable
