An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high profile client. The Economic Adviser will provide economic advice on travel and smart ticketing schemes on bus services within the UK.

They will be working on a part time basis, on average around 3 days per week for an initial 16 weeks.

Key responsibilities:

- Provide economic advice (Cost and Benefits) of smart and integrated ticketing
- Manage a technical piece of external research informing the calculation of reimbursement on travel schemes
- Update the economic case for smart and integrated ticketing using recent evidence
- Assess feasibility of any further work that may need to be commissioned

Key Skills and Experiences:

- University level degree in Economics
- Proven work experience in applied economics
- Experience of working in the Transport or Public sectors
- Knowledge of concessionary travel reimbursement
- Knowledge of bus economics
