The Assistant Product Manager's key area of responsibility will be to deliver small to medium-sized projects for the high-visibility web stores. S/He will engage with internal stakeholders to make sure requirements are well understood and will work cross-functionally with internal and external teams to deliver new features or enhancements to the site quickly and successfully.

The ideal candidate must have a passion for driving compelling eCommerce user experiences and be able to define Front End requirements to deliver new products and/or product enhancements. This role demands that the candidate is comfortable in the technical space as well as the business environment.

OVERVIEW/TASKS:

- Determine and define the functional scope for new or improved features and functionality. Confirm scoping and coordinate estimation with internal and external partners.
- Pending requirements, drive creative wireframe and comp development and delivery with external web design agency.
- Work closely with IT and project manager leads to ensure projects are properly scheduled and that projects progress within expected timeframe.
- Be available to quickly answer questions that arise during development and if needed, be able to make scope trade-off decisions in a timely manner.
- Ensure UAT activities meet business goals. Coordinate business approval of releases prior to build.
- Closely manage project financials and ensure deliverables are executed on time within budget.
- Inform project management team of enhancement requests requiring larger project planning and support. Assist in the development of the eCommerce platform roadmap to continually improve the user experience based on ongoing business need, customer research, feedback, and performance.
- Perform ongoing review of global competitive websites to understand digital retail trends and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of product management experience within a web/eCommerce or Internet-based environment
- Strong project management skills required
- Ability to manage the delivery of multiple high-quality projects simultaneously within tight deliverability windows
- Experience with eCommerce or digital marketing site development
- Experience with hybris, Endeca, Jira, and Confluence
- Familiarity with Omniture, Bing Maps, Bazaarvoice and/or Scene7 a plus
- Self-starter who is an energetic and enthusiastic, adaptable and customer-oriented team player
- Ability to work with multiple cross-functional groups, including business and technical teams
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and work on projects with great efficiency and attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and relationship management skills
- Creativity, resourcefulness, decisiveness, resilience and strong judgment
- Superior written and verbal communication skills: must be well-spoken and articulate, with proven ability to write clearly and persuasively
- Demonstrated ability to present analysis in a compelling, easy to understand manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited direction
