Business Architect - Applications - Essex/Herts - £50k

My client an established retail organization are looking to add a business architect to analyse, document and propose solutions for complex business areas and to prepare specifications.
This is a permanent role paying £50k maximum so contractors need not apply

Essential Experience Required:
Demonstrable evidence of analyzing and documenting complex business processes.
Demonstrable experience writing requirements specifications for Information Systems.
A proven track record in Software Development.
End to end experience of the project lifecycle.
Proven experience interacting directly with end users
Results orientated with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous EPOS experience
Previous knowledge or experience with PCI DSS

Role Responsibilities:
Managing two direct reports
Develop business process models and documentation
Effectively communicate and document business and IT information in line with agreed processes and procedures.
Balance technology and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts.
Develop, define, and build technology bias business cases that will enable business and technology change.
Conduct analysis of business issues and challenges.
Participate in business process and technology initiatives to improve business performance.
Participate in implementation of new business processes and functions as a result of national and regional initiatives.
Act as liaison and participate in defining technology solutions to solve complex, multidisciplinary business problems with long-term implications.
Document functional specifications, conversions, upgrades, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflow.
Facilitate group meetings such as Workshops.
Translate business requirements into appropriate technical specifications.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients across all levels of the organization.
Performa other job-related duties and activities as requested.
Develop and review audit and control processes to facilitate optimal service performance and operational integrity.
Deal with workload peaks without compromising standards.
Manage PCI DSS & JSOX compliancy.
Provide support with Retail System as required
