Ecommerce Manager

Our client, an established online retailer, is seeking an E-commerce practitioner/manager on a contract basis, to support the E-commerce team with the new website that they launched a few weeks ago. The new site looks amazing but so far has not traded that well. They are experiencing high traffic as they have a strong brand, but the conversions have dropped significantly since the new site was launched. Therefore they now require somebody to come in and optimise the site in order to improve conversion rates.

The problems they are experiencing may be down to poor UX, poor navigation, poor categorisation of products and you will be required to look at the analytics, find the problems and fix them! This is a hands on role and my client is not looking for somebody to purely make recommendation, they need somebody who is able to provide solutions and go no to implement them.

To be considered for this role you will need the following skills and experience:

- Web trading on line
- Strong on line trading and merchandising background

Experience of using Google Analytics or similar and making course correction around product as appropriate

- Optimising product performance on site and link selling
- Hands on execution of the above, not consultant type approach
- Experience of Magento preferred, but not essential
