Ecommerce Integration Lead

We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented technologist to join our team as the eCommerce Integration Lead for our game-changing eCommerce Platform.

This position will take responsibility for:
Partnering with our Front End digital channel development teams (mobile, web, etc.) and Back End platform development teams (eCommerce Platform, Middleware, etc.) to drive alignment on software development approaches, patterns, code compliance, etc.
Serving as a technical subject-matter-expert for the development of the eCommerce Platform and customer-facing digital channels
Being a part of the software development life cycle to ensure that code deliverables from the different teams work together successfully upon delivery
Preferably, executing high level code reviews on Front End channels (iOS and Android) and Back End channels/APIs (.Net, NodeJS) from an integration standpoint
Technically testing and making sure that the Front End mobile/web apps are consuming the APIs appropriately
Implementing best practices in software development and virtual team collaboration
Improving documentation practices and partnering with the Business Technical Analysts on the team to summarize detailed technical information into more contextual formats
Understanding the value and interconnected nature of the various components necessary to deliver individual capabilities in the eCommerce Platform and customer-facing channels - across all impacted products (eg POS)
Creating and maintaining documentation pertaining to product features, work processes, etc. Such activities include: Adhering to established standards; Following-up with internal clients about completed tasks to ensure client satisfaction; and Flowcharting processes in logical diagrams

SKILLS:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
5+ years of experience in a software development and integration of complex systems
Experience in developing, implementing, or integrating Back End systems/APIs and web/mobile applications
Strong technical, development focused background with experience integrating applications and systems developed by multiple parties
Ability to understand complex integration needs and work with multiple teams to drive alignment, integrate, and certify the integration of Front End and Back End systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment
Detail-oriented
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to balance multiple priorities successfully
Proactive, self-motivated, and team-working

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
8 years of professional work experience

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS REQUIRED
Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
3 years of general programming experience in frameworks/languages such as .Net, Java, etc.
General mobile application development principles
Experience with service/API consumption in mobile apps
Experience with various software development methodologies (including Waterfall and Agile)
Troubleshooting ability

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS PREFERRED
Experience in NodeJS, Android (Java) and iOS (Objective C/Swift)
Experience with REST and JSON payloads
Experience with mobile SDK development
Experience with Visio
Experience with requirements, task, and change management systems

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATES
Required: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred: Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
