ECM Project Manager

Our prestigious Healthcare client is looking for an ECM Project Manager for initial 6 months contract role to be based in Doha, Qatar.

As the ECM Project manager, you will be providing overall project leadership, management and oversight and manages projects through the entire life cycle and ensures they are closed on time, within budget, and meet the projects' objectives.  The project manager is responsible for successful project delivery.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Effectively manages the implementation of several IT projects from initiation until deployment.

Responsible for planning, organizing and controlling all project resources and effort.

Develops work breakdown structure, detailed project plans and schedules and is accountable for monitoring and reporting on project metrics, issues, risks and overall progress.

Works with Project Delivery Manager and Project Coordinator and ensures assigned project tasks are performed in a timely manner.

Monitors and ensures that projects adhere to the established project management standards and methodologies and performs required procurement, communication and human resource management activities as required

Develops and ensures required project documentation is complete.

Responsible for assembling the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, and identifying appropriate resources needed.

Actively manages risks and issues for assigned projects and when necessary, escalates issues to management's attention for guidance and assistance

Facilitates and prepares consistent Project Management Status reporting and analyzes project data against key process indicators to aid in the governance of the overall project management process.

Performs vendor and stakeholder management to ensure business needs/requirements have been met.

Manages solution development - typically through third-party development.

Provides project data, information and recommendations to the management for further project analysis.

Works closely with internal and external stakeholders and balances competing priorities, resources, schedules and budgets.

Provides support and guidance to other project team members.

Establishes positive relationships with business customers and provides recommendations to improve process efficiencies

Acts as a liaison with IT and/or outside vendors as appropriate.

Leads project meetings and any events/activities required to support the project.

Adheres to our client's standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies

QUALIFICATION:

EDUCATION       

Bachelor's Degree in related field

EXPERIENCE

10+ years' experience in an IT environment

7+ years' experience in project managing medium to large scale projects

Demonstrated experience with Project Management tools, techniques.

Demonstrated experience developing and delivering project management presentations

Demonstrated experience managing project teams and outsourcing engagements

3 + years' experience with best practice quality and process improvement methodology;

CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE  

Project Management (PMP or Prince 2)

JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS AND ABILITIES         

Fluency in written and spoken English

Good communications and interpersonal skills.
